FIX YOUR EYES

It was a privilege to welcome Kylie White as our speaker and hear her inspirational story of HEALING. She shared how God miraculously restored her vision, but more importantly, she reminded us that our spiritual sight is far greater than our physical vision.

COWETA SAMARITAN CLINIC

The Coweta Samaritan Clinic is a local, nonprofit organization that provides free medical care in a faith-based environment to qualified adult residents of Coweta County who lack health insurance. With your generous donations, we were able to bless their sweet residents.
ENOUGH

We can not get ENOUGH of this evening. Valerie Mathura highlighted women in the Bible and then shared her own powerful testimony with us. We all left encouraged that "God is ENOUGH... so I am ENOUGH!".
THE BLOOM CLOSET

When children enter foster care, most are empty-handed, with nothing but the clothes on their backs to call their own. The Bloom Closet provides a boutique-like shopping experience for these children and their families to offer free clothing, books, toys, school supplies, and more. We enjoyed a special night of worship to prepare our hearts for the season. As Rachel Griffin painted live for us, we were able to hear scripture and reading from Ann Voskamp advent book, "Unwrapping the Greatest Gift".

For this Gathering, we partnered with Benton House Assisted Living Home. Their philosophy is that their team is there to serve the residents. With your support, we were able to support Benton House by blessing their residents with socks, lotion, adult coloring books, cookies, etc.
LEAVING A LEGACY

It was a treat to welcome Trudy Cathy White as our speaker and hear her bring an encouraging message that not only honored the foundation that her mom was in their family, but challenged us all as we leave our own legacy. In her talk, she shared a unique tool with us to help determine our own personal values.
MIDWEST FOOD BANK

The mission of Midwest Food Bank is to share the love of Christ by alleviating hunger and malnutrition locally and throughout the world and providing disaster relief; all without discrimination. Their vision is to provide industry-leading food relief to those in need while feeding them spiritually. We loved seeing many of you bring their requested items with you to the Gathering.
4 STOPS IN THE ROAD TO REPENTANCE

Patty Brezina encouraged us with a message entitled "Four Stops in the Road to Repentance: Revelation, Remorse, Responsibility, and Repentance". We love how she reminded us to turn away from sin and turn to Jesus in obedience!
GEORGIA BAPTIST CHILDREN'S HOME

For our "Pour Out", we were honored to partner with Georgia Baptist Children's Home. These girls are teenagers who have been kicked out of the foster care system. Many of them have been kicked out of the foster care system. Many of them have had very difficult pasts and need to feel some love. We posted a list of their requested items and you all blew us away with your generosity of donating both tangible and monetary gifts for these sweet girls.

It was a joy to welcome our very own and very talented, Elizabeth Dixon as she brought an inspiring message on internal PEACE. In arguably one of the busiest months of the year, it was perfect timing to be reminded of the importance of slowing down and being intentional with the people and commitments that matter most.

An organization near and dear to our hearts, we were honored to partner with CPS again for this Gathering. We collected gift cards and donations to go directly to the people they serve, many of which have been impacted by the recent tornado.

AO Mission Center's purpose is to show God's love to those in our community who are in need. Their goal is to help them through difficult times by providing food, clothing, and assistance. It was wonderful to kick off the year and gather with many of you for our virtual gathering. Angela was our emcee at our November 2020 gathering and left us wanting to hear more of her wisdom. She encouraged us as we are still challenged in different ways with the pandemic, on how to find peace in this ongoing challenging season.

One Roof is full of people serving the Lord by working with families in crisis in Coweta County, offering food, clothing, financial assistance and shelter. We were thrilled to partner with them for our virtual gathering. Many of you donated through the provided link leading up to the gathering and in addition, The Well donated $1 to every person that watched our live stream.
UNITY: WE ARE BETTER TOGETHER

We are thankful that technology allowed us to gather and connect both in person and virtually. In a world where divisive opinions are becoming our normal, Shannon Scott brought us a timely message on UNITY. Psalm 86:11 says, “Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.” We are better together and let it not just be true when we gather, but also when we scatter.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

Now more than ever, children need great joy! We gave boys and girls in need a tangible expression of God’s love through a gift-filled shoebox. Once the boxes are sent overseas, local believers share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with children as they distribute them. As a result, families are reached, new churches are started, and communities are transformed.

It was a joy to welcome bible teacher Colleen Searcy from Dallas, TX. Due to the pandemic, this was another virtual gathering and it was so fun to connect with everyone. We loved than many of you hosted your own watch parties with close friends and neighbors as Colleen brought a powerful message on the importance of putting our focus on the confident HOPE we have in Jesus.
NAVIGATING UNCERTAIN TIMES

As we all know, that was a crazy time. Unfortunately, we did not get to meet in person, but had fun connecting with each other via Instagram live. We welcomed back Shannon Scott and she shared with us powerful perspective in walking through the unknown. “What will I miss about this unique season?” and “What don’t I miss” were two great reflective questions she gave us to embrace the opportunity to let go of old and welcome in new.
WALKING WITH GOD THROUGH THE SEASONS

We all got a good laugh with a dose of encouragement from our beloved speaker Shannon Scott. She joined us from Nashville, but we feel that she is part of The Well family. Shannon shared how our walk with God can look different in different seasons of life – Winter. Spring. Summer. Fall. The hot chocolate and coffee were consistently being filled and the warmth of the drinks with the welcoming environment was a perfect way to spend a January evening.

JOY IN GRIEF
Gathering ~ September 2019
We welcomed Rachel Faulker Brown back to encourage our ladies. She barely scraped the surface of her story in May and we were left wanting more. Rachel's story of deep grief does not define her and she shared with us how to find joy in the morning. We laughed, we cried, and most importantly, we were encouraged. It was a privilege to welcome her back!
NEW LEAF COMMUNITY GARDEN

It was an honor to partner with New Leaf Community Garden for our Pour Out opportunity. Their purpose is to "educate, feed and nourish the people of Newnan through a sustainable community garden". On the Saturday following the gathering, our volunteers with their families, gave their time to help with the gardens.
FOSTERING MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIPS

What is better than one speaker? A panel of women sharing wisdom from different seasons of life and experiences. Elizabeth Dixon facilitated as we heard from Stacey Hensley, Rachel Faulkner Brown, and Khalilah Cooper. Stacey shared with us on navigating and growing relationships through various seasons. Rachel, a twice widowed mom with young children, shared her powerful testimony and how she found true comfort in Jesus. Khalilah, a working mom, shared with us how to manage our priorities. This pilot gathering was truly beautiful to see women of all ages and stages come together to worship Jesus.
